<br />City of Centemlle <br />June 25, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated it did not make sense to install the sidewalk until there are <br />storm sewers in the area <br /> <br />There was cons~f Council to wait on the sidewalk until reconstruction of that road. <br />t\ \)JC~' <br />Ms. Ctmrch indicated that residents do not need or want water but understand why it is <br />necessary. She then commented that the residents do not see the need for the sidewalk <br />and noted the assessment amount is a lot of money for working class families. <br /> <br />Don Simonson of 7362 Centerville Road indicated there is a lot of water not only on the <br />comer but the entire east side of Centerville Road. <br /> <br />VI. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />1. Mr. Rick Carlson Request for Rezone from R-l to R-2 PUD. Lot Combination. <br />Preliminary Plat & Comprehensive Plan Amendment Advancing MUSA <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney opened the public hearing at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee.. seconded by Council Member Capra to approve <br />Resolution #03-039 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member <br />Capra to close the public hearin!!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve the rezone from R-l to R-2 PUD for Hunter's Crossin!! 2nd Addition <br />Phase I and n. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to approve the lot combination. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve the preliminary plat for Hunter's Crossin!! 2nd Addition. Phase I. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson asked if the approval granted would allow for grading in Phase II as well. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that a grading permit could be issued. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated he had started the feasibility study and would have a draft <br />available soon. <br /> <br />2.
