CenteT'Vilk, fM9\l 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 .:Fat( (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />"- <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03 - 041 <br />A RESOLUTION IN RESPONSE TO A NOTICE OF NON-COMPLIANCE <br />FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYEE RELATIONS <br />REGARDING THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PAY EQUITY ACf <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville did receive a notice of non-compliance, dated June <br />11, 2003, from the Minnesota Department of Employee Relations with respect to the <br />Local Government Pay Equity Act of 1984; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, equalizing the amount of health insmance benefits paid over all classes of <br />employees appears to bring the City into compliance. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Centerville <br />hereby amends the cafeteria contribution for all eligtole City of Centerville employees to <br />the amount of $660.45 per month, effective August 1, 2003. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Centerville adopts <br />the amended Pay Equity Implementation Report, authorizes the Mayor to sign the same, <br />and directs the City Administrator to file the report with the appropriate agencies by the <br />due date of September 11,2003. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Centerville this 9th day of July, 2003. <br /> <br />Mayor, Terry Sweeney <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
