It appears that this change <br />would now bring the City in to compliance. The monthly salary amounts include all <br />insurance benefits paid by the city. Previously, there was a disparity of $40.45 per month <br />between union and non-union personnel due to the difference in the amount ofhea1th <br />insurance benefit. The disparity was greater in the year 2002, in which the :first report <br />was filed. <br /> <br />The new report must be adopted by the Council, signed by the Mayor, and submitted to <br />the Department of Employee Relations prior to September 11, 2003. The changes must <br />be effective by August 11,2003. <br />
