PAUL - City officials are invited to a series oflegislative briefings being held <br />throughout Minnesota during June and July. <br /> <br />The meetings, sponsored by the League of Minnesota Cities, will provide a forum for <br />learning about and discussing the 2003 legislative session, including: <br /> <br />Slate aid cuts and reform of the distribution formula; <br /> <br />Impacts oflevy limits; <br /> <br />New gun law; <br /> <br />Caps on firework permitting fees; and <br /> <br />More. <br /> <br />Sessions are: <br /> <br />Redwood Falls: 1-3 p.m., June 24, Redwood Area Community Center, 901 Cook St., <br />Redwood Falls. <br /> <br />Duluth: 1-3 p.m., June 25, Duluth City Hall, Council Chambers, 411 W. First St., <br />Duluth. <br /> <br />Chatfield: 1-3 p.m., June 26, Chatfield City Hall, Council Chambers, 21 Second <br />Street SE, Chatfield. <br /> <br />Detroit Lakes: 10 a.m.-Noon, July 9, Detroit Lakes City Hall, Council Chambers, <br />1025 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes. (Limited parking is available across the street <br />behind the old library; otherwise on-street parking is available.) <br /> <br />Crookston: 3-5 p.m., July 9, Crookston City Hall, Council Chambers, 124 N. <br />Broadway, Crookston. <br /> <br />Graod Rapids: 12:30-2:30 p.m., July 10, Grand Rapids City Hall, Council <br />Chambers, 420 N.
