We also had t- <br />shirts made with the new logo, and distributed them to all of our producers and <br />volunteers. <br /> <br />AnnuaL VoLunTeeR AwaROS CeRemony <br /> <br />Producing video programming is a time consuming, and technically challenging <br />endeavor. We work with a lot of people in the community who produce their own <br />programs and people who, cumulatively, volunteered over 3,100 hours to help <br />staff produce programs utilizing the production truck. <br /> <br /> <br />While personal pride in the final product is <br />some reward for the huge amount of time <br />and effort video production demands, we <br />want to make sure our producers and <br />volunteers know how much we appreciate <br />them by recognizing their work at our annual <br />awards ceremony. <br /> <br />Every April staff puts together a gala event <br />The Hotfoot Stampers with their to reward and honor our producers and <br />"Most Productive New Producer" volunteers. As has been the tradition, the <br />award. ceremony took place at the Majestic Oaks <br /> <br />Golf Course. Over 40 volunteers and <br />producers showed up for hors <br />d'oeuvres, conversation, trophies, <br />channel 15 clothing and to be <br />recognized and appreciated for their <br />efforts. Thirteen special merit awards <br />were presented to some very I <br />deserving individuals. As we have <br />done in the past, all of the award <br />winner's photos were posted on the bL--- L <br />website, along with additional pictures of <br />the gala. As graduates of our video production classes will tell <br />you, it is a very complicated, often frustrating, and always time consuming <br />endeavor.
