It helps to have a constant <br />source of content. <br /> <br />We were fortunate enough to work with many of these groups this past year. <br />They include a square dancing club called the Hotfoot Stompers, the District 49 <br />DFL Caucus, representatives of ISO #11, Roosevelt Middle School, the <br />Opportunity Partners non-profit organization, the Toastmasters, and many local <br /> <br /> <br />churches. <br /> <br />All of our producers will tell you that access to training, television production <br />equipment, and channel space is an invaluable resource to their organizations. <br />It's important to note, that in a world of media consolidation, producers and <br />viewers appreciate the accessibility and availability of truly local public access <br />television. <br /> <br />cLasses ana STUDenTS <br /> <br />One of the services we provide to the public is general instruction in video <br />production. Whether people are interested in helping out on van shoots, want to <br />produce their own programs, or just want to learn how to shoot better home <br />video, we provide a valuable resource to <br />the community. <br /> <br />Our basic series of four classes is <br />scheduled on a monthly basis, plus we <br />organize private instruction when our <br />regularly scheduled classes don't fit into <br />a student's schedule. The class schedule <br />is posted on our web site. <br /> <br />Statistically, we had a mixed year. <br />Although more classes were provided <br />than the previous year, we had fewer <br />students. <br /> <br /> <br />6 <br />
