City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 25, 2012 <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King, to approve <br />the January 11, 2012 City Council Work Session Meeting Minutes as presented. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville January 12, 2012 through January 25, 2012 Claims (Check #27003- <br />27018) & (Check #27019-27027) <br /> <br />2.Centennial Fire District Claims through January 7, 2012 (Check #5145-5163) <br /> <br />3.Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through January 12, 2012 (Check #8748- <br />8781) <br /> <br />4.Centerville Lions Equipment Lease Agreement – Concession Trailer <br /> <br />5.Anoka County Agreement for Residential Recycling Program <br /> <br />Council Member Love requested that Item #4 be removed for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to <br />approve the Consent Agenda with Items #1-3 and Item #5. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Love questioned language in Sections #8 & #10 and felt that both sections <br />should incorporate language for obligations for repairs. City Attorney Glaser concurred and <br />stated that it would not be difficult to add such language to the Section of reference. <br /> <br />Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar, motioned to table this item to <br />Council’s regularly scheduled meeting of February 8, 2012. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />VII.OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Res. #12-004 – Authorizing Workers Compensation Coverage for Elected & Appointed Officials <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King, to approve <br />Res. #12-004 – Authorizing Workers Compensation Coverage for Elected & Appointed <br />Officials as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Res. #12-005 – Authorizing the Creation of Fund #401 <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that this item was also discussed at Council’s previous meeting and staff <br />was directed to draft a resolution for approval. Mayor Wilharber stated that the fund would <br />allow for unspent funds to be carried over from year to year for the street maintenance program – <br />a revolving improvement fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
