City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 25, 2012 <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator <br /> <br />Administrator Larson stated that collaborative meetings continue with neighboring communities. <br />All communities are aware and interested in the anti-icing/spray brine method that the City is <br />currently utilizing and are very interested in it. Administrator Larson reported that Rice Creek <br />Watershed District (RCWD) is considering collaborative measures to secure a grant which would <br />allow the purchase of additional equipment, etc. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson stated that the discussions continue with the City of Lexington regarding <br />providing building inspection services and it is felt that an agreement would be coming forward <br />for Council consideration at their next meeting and services would commence in March. <br />Administrator Larson reported that the Lexington Fire Department is purchasing a new fire truck <br />and they would like to temporarily store their old truck indoors until such time as it is sold. <br />Administrator Larson suggested the use of the old Public Works site if Council was agreeable. <br /> <br />Council. <br /> <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adjourn the <br />regularly scheduled meeting of January 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. All in favor.
