<br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that there is a bill on the floor that would require multilane <br />phone systems that would be able to track a 911 call from any extension. <br /> <br />2. Capital Proiects <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he is in the process of reviewing the first draft of the <br />settlement agreement with Woods of Clearwater Creek. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he and Ms. Paulseth met to discuss Deer Pass prior to <br />the meeting and that case would be proceeding forward. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that Mr. Buechler was next on the list and said he would be <br />proceeding with collection on each of them. <br /> <br />3. Local Government Officials Meeting <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that she went to the meeting and one of the biggest <br />issues is HRA. She then said that most cities are against the legislation as they would <br />prefer to keep money local rather than one pool for the whole county. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated he had said he would like to keep the money local rather than <br />at the county level. <br /> <br />4. Fete des Lacs :v <br />t d,c(l/"v~. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she has an-issue with theme for the Fete des Lacs <br />""pdliide and said-Jttlc:~ed one phone call complaining about it. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicatedthe theme of the parade is based on the Austin Powers movie. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra ~nE~9aJed she has a concern about what the term shag means and <br />suggested that the theme'leCffanged to the best of the 70's. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee said he thinks it is all really silly and goes to the whole political <br />correctness that he is against. He then said that he feels people need to develop a thicker <br />skin and not be offended by silly things. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated that they took a catch phrase from Austin Powers and it was <br />meant to be humorous not offensive. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar agreed that it was meant to be a humorous thing and said that there <br />was only one complaint so he does not feel it warrants any action at this time. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that fliers and advertising would be going out next <br />week. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
