The proposed plan <br />amendment changes 18 acres designated for 2006-2010 MUSA and 25 acres designated for 2011-2020 <br />MUSA and places the total 43 acres into the 2001-2005 MUSA stage. The Council determined the plan <br />amendment incomplete for review on May 1, 2003. The Council has received additional information <br />from the City on May 13,2003. Council staff finds the proposed plan amendment complete for review. <br /> <br />The property is 40 acres or more in size and under Council review procedures cannot be administratively <br />waived. All such plan amendments must go to the Council's board for action. The amendment is <br />tentatively scheduled for the Community Development Committee meeting on June 2, 2003 and to the <br />full Council on June 11,2003. <br /> <br />In accordance with state law, the Council has 60 days to complete its formal review of the plan <br />amendment, with the option to extend the review an additional 60 days. The 60-day period starts May 13, <br />2003, and staff anticipates the review will be complete within the first 60-day period, which ends July 12, <br />2003.
