PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, July 11, 2012 — 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br /> held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Hidden Springs Park in Centerville. <br /> Present: Vice- Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson Q <br /> D 0' <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley � <br /> Committee Member Mark Haiden <br /> Absent: Chairperson Patrick Branch <br /> One Committee Member seat is vacan <br /> Also Absent: Council Member Steve King <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Roll Call <br /> Vice - Chairperson Grahek called the June 6, 2012 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to <br /> order at 6:43p.m. <br /> II. SET AGENDA <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Hadden, seconded by Committee Member Peterson <br /> to add number 8 "Movies in the Park - September" under Updates. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> III. APPEARANCES <br /> 1. Mr. Tom Lee was unable to attend this meeting, but had sent an email to inform the <br /> Committee members that he will not be available for the July 24`" show (Music in the Park). <br /> Mr. Lee will let the Committee know if the band scheduled for that evening will need all or <br /> some of our equipment. He had asked that someone from the P & R to provide assistance to <br /> the band by doing the set up for him at 5:30pm, if needed. The equipment is located in the <br /> warming house. <br /> 2. Mr. Kevin Waeghe, an interested candidate for the vacant position on the Committee. <br /> IV.
