City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 25, 2012 <br />Council Member King gave a brief overview of the presented budget. Mayor Wilharber <br />stated that subscribership is continuing with a downward trend. Finance Director <br />Jeziorski stated that two (2) items are on the agenda for Council consideration and they <br />are: the proposed 2013 Budget and refinancing an existing bond which all member cities <br />would need to approve. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />the 2013 Budget for the North Metro Telecommunications Commission as <br />presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Res. #12-017 – Approving First Amendment to Amended & Restated Joint & <br />Cooperative Agreement & Approving Issuance by the North Metro <br />Telecommunications System of Certain Refunding Bonds & Related Matters <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding liability associated with the bond. Attorney Glaser stated <br />that the North Metro Telecommunication Commission is an extension of each member <br />city. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />Res. #12-017 – Approving First Amendment to Amended & Restate Joint & <br />Cooperative Agreement & Approving Issuance by the North Metro <br />Telecommunications System of Certain Refunding Bonds & Related Matters as <br />presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Adopt the MNDOT Snow & Ice Control Handbook <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding language within the Handbook. Finance Director Jeziorski <br />stated that this handbook would be utilized as a best practices tool; however, the City <br />may choose to upgrade from the minimums placed in the handbook. Finance Director <br />Jeziorski also stated that having policies and procedures in place is a requirement of the <br />grant. Attorney Glaser stated that generally the City is already implementing these <br />policies. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />adopt the MNDOT Snow & Ice Control Handbook as presented. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />IX.ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br />Council Member Fehrenbacher questioned the status of the nuisance property on <br />Centerville Road.
