City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 12, 2012 <br /> (CSAH 21). Mayor Wilharber reported that the County anticipated holding an open <br /> house in November to discuss the construction with abutting property owners. <br /> Council Member King stated that the Parks and Recreation Committee had numerous <br /> questions associated with the appointment of two (2) members to the Committee making <br /> the Committee eight (8) members rather than seven (7), voting and quorum requirements. <br /> Council Member King requested that Administrator Larson speak with the Chair <br /> regarding these matters. <br /> Recess at 8:05 p.m. for a five (5) minute break prior to entering the Closed Executive <br /> Session. <br /> X. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> All members of Council were present along with Administrator Larson and Attorney <br /> Glaser. <br /> 1. Labor Negotiations with Local 49'ers <br /> Administrator Larson reported that a mediation session is scheduled for the coming week <br /> and reviewed the positions of both the City and the Union members. Council provided <br /> guidance for the mediation session. <br /> XI. REOPEN REGULAR SESSION <br /> Council reopened the meeting to the public at 8:32 p.m. <br /> It was noted that the only issue of discussion during the closed portion of the meeting was <br /> labor negotiation issues. <br /> Council considered a proposed resolution setting pay and benefits for non -union Staff for <br /> 2012 -2014. <br /> 1. Consider Res. #12 -022 — Adjusting Compensation for Non - Bargaining <br /> Unit Employees <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br /> adopt Res. #12 -022 — Adjusting Compensation for Non - Bargaining Unit Employees <br /> as presented.
