City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 26, 2012 <br /> 1. City Administrator Larson <br /> a. Liquor License Renewal Has Started <br /> Administrator Larson stated that annual licensing has commenced for liquor, tobacco and <br /> massage establishments /providers. <br /> Administrator Larson suggested that Council consider scheduling a work session <br /> following the regular council meeting of October 10, 2012 to discuss the open house that <br /> would be held on October 3, 2012, feasibility report, cost allocations and assessments <br /> associated with the 2013 Street Improvement Project and the draft 2013 Fee Schedule. <br /> Engineer Statz reported that the final pay request associated with the trail project had <br /> been forwarded to the contractor who has a supplemental claim but with Mr. Burmeister <br /> being out of the office the consideration by the City has been delayed. <br /> Engineer Statz also reported that the completed Surface Water Management Plan had <br /> been completed and would be place on Council next agenda for consideration. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that all Council Members would be receiving a copy for <br /> review shortly. <br /> Engineer Statz stated that he and several members from Staff had met with Anoka <br /> County regarding the impending road reconstruction of CSAH21 /Centerville Road. <br /> Engineer Statz stated that acquiring easements from abutting property owners has slowed <br /> the process. <br /> Lengthy discussion ensued regarding the County's funding for the project, trail <br /> construction, proposed construction of park land by neighboring community, pedestrian <br /> safety, turn lanes and cost sharing for Centerville and Lino Lakes. Administrator Larson <br /> stated that an open house would be held in January for impacted residents and the City. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that the property cleanup for the downtown resident had <br /> commenced the previous day and that the property owners were cooperative. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that he would update Council at their next meeting regarding <br /> the issue. <br /> Council Member King stated that the Parks & Recreation Committee would be meeting <br /> on October 3, 2012 and that the regular meeting for North Metro Telecommunication <br /> Commission had been cancelled. <br /> Council Member Fehrenbacher reported that a Collaboration Meeting between the six (6) <br /> cities would be taking place the following evening. <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> 5 <br />
