<br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, July 11, 2012 ~ 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Hidden Springs Park in Centerville. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Mark Haiden <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Chairperson Patrick Branch <br /> One Committee Member seat is vacant. <br /> <br />Also Absent: <br /> Council Member Steve King <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Roll Call <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Grahek called the June 6, 2012 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to <br />order at 6:43p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />,Peterson <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden seconded by Committee Member <br />to add number 8 “Movies in the Park-September” under Updates. <br /> All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Mr. Tom Lee was unable to attend this meeting, but had sent an email to inform the <br />th <br />Committee members that he will not be available for the July 24 show (Music in the Park). <br />Mr. Lee will let the Committee know if the band scheduled for that evening will need all or <br />some of our equipment. He had asked that someone from the P & R to provide assistance to <br />the band by doing the set up for him at 5:30pm, if needed. The equipment is located in the <br />warming house. <br /> <br />2.
