City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 8, 2006 <br />None. <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Resolution #06-009 – Acknowledging Donation from Dead Broke Saddle Club <br />$9,500 <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the Statute addresses that if the Council wants to <br />receive that gift subject to the donor’s wishes it must be received by Resolution and the <br />terms must be identified and it has to be approved by 2/3 of the Council. If the gift does <br />not have a specific designation then the Resolution is not required by State Statute. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway, to approve <br />Resolution #06-009 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Resolution #06-010 – Acknowledging Donation from Center Frame & Wheel <br />Alignment, Inc. $50 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve Resolution #06-010 – Acknowledging Donation from Center Frame & <br />Wheel Alignment, Inc. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Resolution #06-013 – Acknowledging Donation from Paul H. Steffel Insurance <br />Agency, Inc. - $50 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve <br />Resolution #06-013 – Acknowledging Donation from Paul H. Steffel Insurance <br />Agency, Inc. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Resolution #06-014 – Acknowledging Donation from Gina Paar, Paar Design - <br />$50 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Resolution #06-013 – Acknowledging Donation from Gina Paar, Paar <br />Design. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Resolution #06-011 – Transfer Funds from Parks & Recreation to the General Fund <br />for 2004/2005 Improvements <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that this is needed to balance the expenses and <br />allocate them appropriately. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra read Resolution #06-011. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 11 <br />
