Cities discussing the enactment of a <br />clandestine drug lab ordinance should consult with local county officials <br />including Health, Attomey, Sheriff and County Board to see what progress <br />has already been. made in the county. <br /> <br />2. City Liability for Removal of Hazardous Waste <br />These materials do not consider the obHS~tions and liabilities of city, <br />C01.U1ty or state ag~cies with reprd to the initial removal of hazardous <br />wastes and chemicals from a clandestine drug lab. Delegation of temporary authority to law enforCaneJ1t to notify <br />appropriate state and local officials after discovering site, dispose of <br />chemical wastell require occupants to va~ate site and lock and prohibit <br />unau.thorized entry to the site. <br />c.
