9.) Land Use Issues. Transportation is a land use. Need to review the Comprehensive Land
Use Plan connections between cities. Impacts of road improvements, Hugo development, Lino Lakes
Development and Centerville development.

15.) Heron Rookery. Sunset ofLino Lakes and Centerville Ordinance established to protect
the rookery at Peltier Lake.

16.) Funding Issues! How are all these projects to be funded?

17.) Name of the Group. This item came up as the result of the discussions of the meeting
that Centerville recently attended with Anoka County regarding CSAH 21 (20th Avenue).
Because 135E, CSAH 8/14 and CSAH 21 are impacting the region rather than just a handful
of cities, that perhaps the name should be changed from the Tri-City Coalition to something
that would include Anoka and Washington Counties, Columbus Township and Forest Lake.

Are there other issues that you can think of that this FUP should address and discuss? Please bring
them with you to the meeting scheduled for May 15 at 7:00 p.m. If you cannot be there, please feel
free to pass them along to me and 1 will present them to the group for discussion.

Attached to this memo are copies of the upcoming Tri-City meeting agenda for May 15th at 7:00 pm as
well as the meeting summary from the March 20, 2003 meeting.
