Council Updates — Council Liaison King <br /> Due to Council Member King's attendance of the Council meeting that was <br /> scheduled for the same evening, he was unable to attend. <br /> 2. Kiosk Inserts — Amundsen <br /> The Committee requested that the 2013 City Calendar be placed in the Kiosk and <br /> any outdated material be removed. <br /> 3. Smart Phone Application — Peterson <br /> No update; Tabled <br /> 4. Hidden Spring Park Clean Up — Girl Scouts <br /> See Item #3 under Committee Business <br /> 5. Tulip Planting — S. Seeley <br /> Several hundred tulip blubs were planted by several committee members, their <br /> families and two additional volunteers from the community. <br /> 6. Snowmobile Ordinance amended by Council <br /> This ordinance was amended and adopted by the City Council on October 10, 2012 <br /> with copies provided to the Committee. This amendment was made to make it <br /> clearer and the same as the ordinances for Circle Pines and Lexington (for ease of <br /> police enforcement). A concern that was brought up was that the regulation banning <br /> studs was removed from the new language and that damage could occur to the City <br /> streets and trails. <br /> 7. Contract for Bunker Stable Hayride /Skate Night, February 9, 2013 <br /> It was noted that the contract in the amount of $721.41 had been signed and <br /> forwarded to the Stable. Committee Member Amundsen will obtain the check from <br /> Staff on or before the event. <br /> 8. Enhancement Items for Music in the Park (Grahek & Amundsen) <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Amundsen to purchase a 100 foot, '/ inch speaker cable and a pair of <br /> headphones in an amount not to exceed $300 (approximately $100 for <br /> headphones and not more than $200 for the cable). All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
