DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT <br /> 2. Keeping Chickens in the City. <br /> P &Z considered a request that the city Code be amended to permit chickens to be kept in <br /> residential areas. They suggested that code language would be developed to mitigate <br /> concerns, including, limiting the numbers of chickens to four as well as limiting the size <br /> and location of a chicken coop. It was also noted that the three cities that are covered by <br /> Centennial Lakes Police Department have identical Code chapters regulating animals. <br /> After some discussion the consensus was that the council is very open to the idea and that <br /> an attempt should be made to get Circle Pines and Lexington on board with the change. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:35 p.m. <br /> Dallas Larson, Administrator <br />
