Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />V. <br /> <br />City Council Goals and Objectives – 2012 <br />1. <br /> (Modified Addendum for Parks & Recreation) <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Chairperson Branch, seconded by Committee <br />Member Amundsen to submit the Modified-Proposed Addendum for the <br />Committee to the City Council for approval and adoption into the City Goals <br />and Objections for 2013. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Park Facility Permit Application: September 22, 2012 for use of pavilion at Laurie <br />LaMotte Park for a picnic. Permission was given by staff, due to the timing conflict <br />and the Committee agreed with the decision. <br /> <br />3 Park Facility Permit Application: LaMotte Park Hockey Rink from October 15, <br />2012 through November 20, 2012, Mondays & Thursdays from 7 – 8 pm for dry land <br />practice. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee <br />Member Grahek to approve the application as presented. All in Favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Hidden Spring Park or LaMotte Park Clean-Up and Storm Drain Stenciling by Girl <br />Scouts on October 13, 2012 <br /> <br /> It was noted that the Girl Scouts had submitted stenciling; however, it did not meet <br />the City’s existing stenciling pattern and Mr. Palzer stated that all drains had been <br />previously marked. Chairperson Branch suggested one or more members of the <br />Committee attend the clean up and thank them for their efforts. <br /> <br />5. Tulip Planting – October 6, 2012 – meet at City Hall at 9:00am <br /> <br /> Several members of the Committee are unavailable to participate in this event. <br /> <br />6. Upcoming Events for 2013 and the remainder of 2012 <br /> <br />See September 5, 2012 meeting minutes for scheduled dates. <br /> <br />7. Proposed Snowmobile Ordinance <br /> <br />After discussion, this topic was tabled to the November meeting; Chairperson <br />Branch will obtain additional information. <br /> <br />8.
