Lengthy discussion <br />was had regarding a separation of the two events, additional course and its certification, different <br />shirts, numbers, etc. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member <br />Amundsen to cancel the In-Line Skate and to add a 5K Run/Walk to the Fete des Lacs <br />activities. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Revenues (Park Benches/Irrigation) <br /> <br /> <br />a.Proceeds from 2013 Walk/Runs <br /> <br />The Committee felt that this item should be discussed at an upcoming Joint Work <br />Session with Council. <br /> <br /> <br />b.$500 Donation from Lions received January 9, 2013 <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member <br />Peterson to expend these funds for the purchase and installation of park bench(es) <br />with their installation determined at a later date. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Committee requested that Mr. Palzer obtain prices for the purchase(s). <br /> <br />3. Fete des Lacs – Band(s) for Friday <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Lee forwarded an email stating that he has five (5) of the eight (8) events <br />confirmed for Music in the Park and that he would be providing additional information <br />to the Committee in May. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Committee was to table this item until their May meeting. <br /> <br />4. Blue Bird Houses <br /> <br />Committee Member Amundsen gave a short report on the status of the Blue Bird Houses, <br />stating that some of them need to be moved and provided a spread sheet detailing the <br />birdhouses, their maintenance and needed maintenance. <br /> <br />5. Thank You Letters (Skate Night Volunteers) <br /> <br />Committee Member Grahek will provide the names of the volunteers to City Staff so <br /> <br />that letters may be sent to them. <br /> <br />6. Bike Repair Station – Eagle Project or Donations/Excess Funds from Run? <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Committee felt that this item should also be discussed at the Joint Work Session. <br /> <br />7.
