In recent years there seems to be a persistant pattern of 4 to 2 <br /> voting, with the two Lino Lakes members in the minority. This has become a concern to the <br /> Lino Lakes delegation, especially because Lino Lakes contributes nearly 70 percent toward the <br /> Centennial Fire District budget. <br /> Tonight I am asking the Steering Committee to support a motion to begin the process of revising <br /> the voting procedures so that Lino Lakes' authority matches its contributions to the District. <br /> Essentially, the intent would be for the three member cities to renegotiate the terms laid out in <br /> Article 2.6 of the JPA. <br />
