City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />October 23, 2013 <br />hours of 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the St. Genevieve Community Parish and that the <br />scheduled Fire Steering meeting would be taking place the same evening commencing a <br />6:00 p.m. and that it was imperative that the City had full representation. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson suggested scheduling a work session to complete discussions <br />regarding the upcoming years’ street projects and outstanding items. Consensus of the <br />Council was to schedule the work session for November 13, 2013. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson reminded Council of the two upcoming holidays, their potential <br />effects on scheduled meetings and potential for cancellation or rescheduling of the <br />meetings. Consensus of Council was to wait until their November 13, 2013 meeting to <br />determine whether to cancel or reschedule their November 27, 2013 meeting and the <br />same with the December 11, 2013 is where they will determine cancellation or <br />rescheduling of their December 25, 2013 meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber mentioned several upcoming meeting where the public or Council <br />Members could attend to provide input and obtain updates (RCWD and Metro Transit). <br /> <br />Council Member Fehrenbacher reported that at a recent member cities collaboration <br />meeting, Administrator Larson presented a salt brine/winter road maintenance <br />presentation. Council Member Fehrenbacher reported that all member cities were <br />pleased with the program except Columbus due to expenditures exceeding their grant <br />funding. Council Member Fehrenbacher stated that lengthy debates are taking place as to <br />responsibility for White Bear Lake water levels relating to ground water, municipal <br />pumping, etc. and it is feared that legislation will be enacted prior to a verified cause <br />being found which may impose restrictions that may affect the groups study for operating <br />a joint utility system. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar reminded residents of the upcoming Lions Annual Haunted House <br />taking place on Friday and Saturday evening. Council Member Love reminded Council <br />Members of the upcoming Local Board of Equalization Training happening on <br />November 12, 2013. <br /> <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to adjourn <br />the regularly scheduled Council meeting of October 23, 2013 at 7:05 p.m. All in <br />favor.
