Bylaws of the Anoka County Fire Protection Council <br /> Article I <br /> Organization <br /> Section 1. Name of the Organization. <br /> The name of this organization shall be the Anoka County Fire Protection Council, <br /> hereinafter referred to as ACFPC <br /> Section 2. Purpose of the Organization. <br /> The general purposes of the organization shall be as follows; <br /> a. Improve safety conditions for firefighters. <br /> b. Promote fire safety through education, inspections, investigations and <br /> general protection of citizens. <br /> c. Exchange ideas among ACFPC members in areas related to all <br /> aspects of fire emergency services. <br /> d. Enhance overall communications. <br /> e. Strive to provide to the communities the best overall fire emergency <br /> services that can be jointly made available. <br /> f. Serve in an advisory capacity on matters related to fire emergency <br /> services. <br /> g. Serve as an appropriate representative of firefighting emergency <br /> services within Anoka County. <br /> h. Coordinate efforts for the mutual exchange of equipment and services. <br /> i. To provide appropriate training through the Anoka County Training <br /> Academy. <br /> j. Participate in the creation and on-going management of the Records <br /> Management and Computer Aided Dispatch systems. <br /> k. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with Joint Law <br /> Enforcement Council. <br /> I.
