Article II <br /> Meetings <br /> Section 1. Regular Meetings <br /> The ACFPC typically holds regular meetings on the last Thursday of January, <br /> April, July and October of each year. The first meeting of the calendar year shall <br /> be known as the annual meeting and shall include the election of both officers <br /> and trustees whose terms have expired. When warranted, meeting dates and <br /> times may be changed/altered at the direction of the Chair. <br /> Section 2. Special Meetings <br /> Meetings other than regular meetings of the ACFPC are termed special meetings <br /> and may be called for any date either by the ACFPC Chair or when requested by <br /> at least four (4) ACFPC members. All special meetings must have five (5) days <br /> advance notice given to ACFPC members prior to the holding of a special <br /> meeting. <br /> Section 3. Location and Time of Meetings <br /> The location and time for regular meetings shall be as established by the ACFPC <br /> members as an item of business at any regular meeting. The location and time <br /> for special meetings shall be at the discretion of the caller for any suitable place <br /> and reasonable time. When warranted, meeting locations and times may be <br /> altered by the direction of the Chair. <br /> Section 4. Quorum <br /> At all regular and special meetings of the ACFPC, a quorum shall be defined as <br /> "the simple majority of active members" for the conducting of business. <br /> Section 5. Voting <br /> Each member of the ACFPC, except that: the membership of the cities of <br /> Centerville, Lino Lakes, and Circle Pines shall be represented only by the <br /> Centennial Fire District; membership of the cities of Anoka and Champlin shall be <br /> represented only by the Anoka/Champlin Fire District; membership of the cities of <br /> Spring Lake Park, Blaine, and Mounds View shall be represented only by the SBM <br /> Fire Board; and membership of the cities of Ramsey and Nowthen shall be <br /> represented only by a representative of the Nowthen/Ramsey joint powers <br /> agreement. <br /> 17 <br /> 28 <br />
