Section 6. Board of Directors <br /> The Board of Directors of the ACFPC shall consist of five (5) persons composed <br /> of the three (3) elected ACFPC officers and two (2) trustees. The trustees are to <br /> be elected at the annual meeting from the active membership of the ACFPC for a <br /> term of two (2) years each and shall hold office until the next election for that <br /> position. One (1) trustee is to be elected in even-numbered calendar years and <br /> one (1) trustee is to be elected in odd-numbered calendar years. In the event of a <br /> tie for the election of a trustee, a flip of the coin shall decide the winner. <br /> Any vacancy of a trustee's position shall be filled by means of an elective <br /> procedure at any meeting of the ACFPC. <br /> The Board of Directors shall meet whenever deemed necessary, as determined <br /> by the Board of Directors, by giving five (5) days advance notice to ACFPC <br /> members. All meetings of the Board of Directors shall be open to members of the <br /> ACFPC. <br /> Section 7. Budget <br /> An operating budget for the ACFPC will be adopted one year in advance of the <br /> effective date. Example: the proposed 2016 budget will be discussed at the <br /> regular October 2014 ACFPC meeting and adopted at the January meeting of <br /> 2015. The period of time covered by the annual fee is from January 1 to <br /> December 31 of the same calendar year. Expenses incurred by the ACFPC will <br /> be distributed among its members by using the established Cost Share Model: <br /> Cost Share Model <br /> Sum of: Fire Year Average Runs <br /> Market Value Divided by 1,000,000 <br /> Population Divided by 100 <br /> Each Cities share will be their percentage of the total of all agencies sum (above) <br /> The annual budget will include an annual fee for an active membership as <br /> determined by the ACFPC. Central Communications will not be required to pay <br /> the annual fee. <br /> There shall be no annual fee for associate members. <br /> 20 <br /> 31 <br />
