The owner shall provide and maintain a proper enclosure.Also,the dog <br /> must be muzzled,restrained by a substantial chain or leash(not to exceed 6 feet in length), and <br /> under the physical restraint of a person 16 years of age or older if outside the proper enclosure. <br /> Pursuant to City Ordinance,you must obtain microchip identification for your dog. The name of <br /> the manufacturer and identification number of the microchip must be provided to the Community <br /> Service Officer. Please make arrangements to register and microchip your dog within two(2) <br /> weeks. <br /> Our Community Service Officer has provided you with a check list of the Potentially Dangerous <br /> Dog Requirements for the cities of Circle Pines,Lexington, and Centerville.Please read and <br /> understand these requirements.If you wish to appeal the designation,the form must be sent to <br /> the Centennial Lakes Police Department and to City Hall.A Community Service Officer will <br /> follow up within two weeks to make sure you have completed the requirements. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> j Chief James Coan <br /> Centennial Lakes Police Department <br />
