<br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />Wednesday, April 2, 2014 ~ 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at City Hall location. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Nick Twohy <br />Committee Member Kevin Waeghe <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> Public Works Director, Paul Palzer <br />Council Member, Steve King <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> Chairperson Patrick Branch <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Vice-Chairperson Grahek called the April 2, 2014 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation Committee <br />to order at 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall location. <br /> <br /> Roll Call – see above <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member <br />Amundsen to set the agenda. Under COMMITTEE BUSINESS: by changing number 4 to <br />3, number 5 to 4 and adding number 5 – Park Facility Permit Application from Jaci <br />Smetana. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES ~ <br /> <br /> <br />1.Ms Jessica Hull, Secretary of Bald Eagle Water Ski Club <br /> <br /> The P & R Committee requested that a representative of the water ski club attend this <br />meeting to confirm their water ski practice and show schedule. Their dates will be May 1 <br />through the beginning of September and planned practices would be Tuesdays and <br />Thursdays. <br /> <br /> Ms Hull stated that the club was working with City Administrator Larson regarding the <br />water ski club contributing to the purchase of the land from the St. Paul Board of Water. <br />The Committee was unaware of any negotiations regarding the purchase of this property, <br />which the city currently uses with permission from the St. Paul Water District. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Mr. Teng Moua – Flag Football Tournaments <br /> <br /> <br />
