NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Chain of Lakes – Bald Eagle Regional Trail Master Plan <br /> <br />City Clerk Bender stated that this item was placed in the Commission’s packet for review and if <br />the Commission desired to have comments forwarded to the County, Staff could complete that <br />request. Clerk Bender stated that at least one member of the Parks & Recreation Committee and <br />the Mayor attended a recent meeting held at City Hall by Anoka County to discuss the plan. <br />Commissioners Koski and Montain also stated that they attended the meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk Bender stated that the Parks & Recreation Committee Chairperson Branch has provided <br />comments that included alternative routes, however, there is concern that the City has already <br />agreed to construct a portion of the proposed trailway (Heritage Street to Dupre Road) within the <br />agreements associated with the CSAH21/Centerville re-construction project that would be eligible <br />for 50% reimbursement once the County secures the grant. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
