City of Centerville Council Meeting Minutes July 23,2014 V. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Wilharber added Centerville Claims (Check#28827-28851). Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Paar to approve the Agenda as presented with the addition of Centerville Claims (Check #28827-28851) as presented All in favor. Motion passed. VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. July 9, 2014 City Council Meeting Minutes The Mayor provided Council Members with an opportunity to amend the presented minutes. Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve the minutes of the July 9, 2014 City Council Meeting as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. VII. CONSENT AGENDA 1. City of Centerville July 10, 2014 through July 23, 2014 Claims (Check #28801-28826) & (Check#28827-28851) 2. Centennial Police Department Claims through July 15,2014 (Check#9985-10008) 3. Centennial Fire District Claims through July 8, 2014 (Check#6471-6486) Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. VIII. OLD BUSINESS 1. Res. #14-024—Affirming Designation as Potentially Dangerous Animal The Mayor provided Council with an additional opportunity to question Chief Coan or CSO Fredrickson regarding the matter. City Attorney Glaser stated that Szaryk was unprovoked, chased and bit an individual on public property. Council Member Fehrenbacher reiterated that all requirements of a Potentially Dangerous dog "Szaryk" have been complied with and the owner is appealing the designation. Attorney Glaser stated that if Council desire to affirm Chief Coan's designation Council should adoption the presented resolution. Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to adopt Res.#14-024—Affirming Designation of Potentially Dangerous Animal as presented. All in favor. Motion carried.
