The bid included pricing for other locations in the City that are not a part <br /> of this project. If you wish to take advantage of this, your water service can be run into your <br /> basement and connected to your internal plumbing at this time. The water service would be <br /> directionally bored from the boulevard to the chosen location in your basement so you would <br /> not have any disturbance to your yard other than a small patch in the boulevard. <br /> The bid prices are reasonable and all costs can be specially assessed to your property over a <br /> period of fifteen years. If you select this option, we will provide you with a document that <br /> will outline the costs and on which you would express your agreement to be specially <br /> assessed. Of course, you could prepay the costs at any time. The estimated costs of the work <br /> breakdown are as follows: <br /> Boring in service,estimated 65 feet(additional Footage at$30/ft.) $1,950.00 <br /> Connections within your home (Flat rate)* $1,000.00 <br /> Permits& Coordination(Flat rate) $400.00 <br /> Connection to Curb Stop $1,400.00 <br /> Water Meter $400.00 <br /> Water Access Charge(Trunk System Charge) $1,850.00 <br /> Water Connection Unassessed Watermain $6,350.00 <br /> Estimated cost $13,500.00 <br /> Estimate Annual Payment(If Assessed to Property Taxes) <br /> (5%interest for 15 years) $1,300.62 <br /> DEADLINE: In order to schedule all of these service line installations, it is important that <br /> we have as much advance time as possible. Thus, we must ask that you respond no later <br /> than May 30, 2014 if you think you would like to participate in this work. We will need to schedule a <br /> visit to your property to find out where the water meter would be located and to get a <br /> measurement on the total service line distance.
