Street Dance: Mr. Lee stated he would like to coordinate the street dance in <br /> 2015. <br /> Equipment: Mr. Lee stated that 6 additional 20' length XLR cords will be <br /> needed for the 2015 event. Also discussed was the purchase of cases to store the <br /> cords and equipment and also that all the equipment should be stored in the city <br /> garage, not the warming house. Lights for the stage were rented at a cost of <br /> $298.20. <br /> It was moved by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Peterson to recommend to the council to reimburse Tom Lee in the <br /> amount of$298.20, for the rental of lights for Jam, 2014. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2015 Planning: Purchase of cases for storage of equipment (per Tom Lee) and <br /> one or two 8' banners for promotion. <br /> Promotion: In February make the annual request to Anoka County for <br /> permission to put up flyers for P & R events. These flyers need to be up by the <br /> end of May. Also, it was suggested to hand out flyers at each of the water ski <br /> shows. Additional means of promotion as in 2014 will continue to be utilized. <br /> 5. Special Event Permit/Park Facility Usage Form—Private Birthday Party <br /> Aug 2 noon to 3pm at LaMotte Park Pavilion—Staff approved <br /> 6. Estimates for: (Paul Palzer) <br /> a. Installation of Basketball Court/Hoops/Backboards at LaMotte—no new <br /> or additional information has been received <br /> b. Water Fountains at LaMotte & Acorn Creek Park—there was review and <br /> discussion on the types and number of drinking fountains and possible <br /> locations. There are bubblers, single and double fountains with various price <br /> ranges. Laurie LaMotte Park may have two or three near the ball fields and/or <br /> by the warming house. Acorn Park may have a free standing single bubbler <br /> near the trail by the play area, not by the road. Will need bids for installation <br /> at each location. <br /> c. Electrical Services at LaMotte Pavilion—bids have not yet been received <br /> VI. UPDATES <br /> 1. Council Updates—Council Member Steve King <br /> Mr. King reported that there were complaints about the noise levels for the Street <br /> Dance at Kelly's Bar. It was suggested that a decibel meter be available for the <br /> 3 <br />
