October 1,2014
Dallas Larson
Reference: Centerville Road(CSAH 21)Forcemain/Storm Sewer Conflict
lower storm sewer crossing of Centerville Road which could be utilized by the neighborhoods
directly east of this area which have been experiencing perpetual backyard drainage issues.
Design of the lowered trunk storm sewer and ditch will cost$4,000. As part of our cost sharing
agreement with the county, the city is responsible for the design costs of the trunk storm sewer.
The contractor would like to begin work on the trunk storm sewer as soon as possible and is
planning to complete the ditch excavation this winter.
A formal change order will be processed through the County,as the contracting authority once
final drawings and exact pricing can be established. If the City Council wishes to move forward
with this option, they should consider accepting this change order at their next meeting.
Regards,
STANTEC CONSULTING SERVICES INC.
''0%c '-'k
Mark R.Statz, PE
Associate
Phone: (651) 604-4709
Mork.Statz@stantec.com
Attachment: Change Order
c.
