RESOLUTION NUMBER 14-OJ'/ <br /> A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to action of the city council, a report has been <br /> prepared by Mark Statz of Stantec, with reference to the 2015 Street Mill <br /> and Overlay project, more fully described as construction of a mill and <br /> pavement overlay of the following streets: <br /> I. Dupre Road from Meadow Lane north to Main Street. <br /> 2. All of Eagle Trail. <br /> 3. Brian Drive from a point approximately 100 feet south of Clearwater Creek, <br /> southerly to its terminus in the cul-de-sac <br /> 4. All of Portage Way <br /> 5. All of North Robin Lane <br /> 6. All of West Robin Lane <br /> 7. All of South Robin Lane <br /> 8. All of Cardinal Drive <br /> WHEREAS, such report indicates that the proposed improvement is <br /> feasible. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with the <br /> report and the assessment of the benefiting property for all or a portion <br /> of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter <br /> 429 at an estimated cost of$JJZ ea) <br /> 7 <br /> 2. The Council finds that the proposed improvement has no relationship to <br /> the Comprehensive Plan since the project is primarily rehabilitation of <br /> existing streets, and therefore will not require review by the Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission. <br /> 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the <br /> 10' day of December, 2014, in City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and the <br /> Administrator shall give such mailed and published notice of such <br /> hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> Adopted by the Council this 12th day of November, 2014. <br /> r ,n <br /> Tom Wilharber,Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br />
