<br />RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS <br /> <br />A. Chairperson - 1 year term <br /> <br />(1) Chair Committee meetings. <br /> <br />(2) Prepare and distribute agenda to Committee. <br /> <br />(3) Follow-up on the implementation of recommendations. <br /> <br />(4) Present recommendations of the Committee to the City Manager's <br />Office. <br /> <br />(5) Meet with the Advisor to get input on matters as requested by the <br />Committee. <br /> <br />B. Vice Chairperson - 1 year term <br /> <br />(1) Serve as Chair in the absence of the Chairperson. <br /> <br />C. Secretary- 1 year term <br /> <br />(1) Take minutes ofthe Committee meetings, including a record of <br />attendance and distribute said minutes to Committee members <br />within one week after each meeting. Approval of the minutes will <br />take place at the next month's meeting. <br /> <br />(3) Notify the Chairperson when a member has failed to meet the <br />attendance standard for the Committee so appropriate action can be <br />taken. <br /> <br />D. Treasurer - indefinite term <br /> <br />(1) Will be the Finance Department's Accounting Coordinator, <br />whether or not that person is a departmental representative on the <br />Committee. Will be responsible for the expenditure of the <br />Committee's funds. May pay, without Committee authorization, <br />bills which do not exceed $75 and which are in compliance with <br />adopted expenditure policies or the budget. Will give a report to <br />the Committee on the status of its funds as requested by the <br />Committee. In the absence of the Treasurer, the representative <br />from the Administrative Services department will take on this <br />responsibility. <br />
