<br />E. Department Representative - 2 year term, inclusive of other positions held <br /> <br />(1) Ensure fellow department employees are informed of the <br />Committee's progress and actions. <br /> <br />(2) Encourage input of ideas and suggestions. <br /> <br />(3) Serve on various subcommittees and/or perform assignments <br />delegated by the Chair in a timely manner. h1dividual committee <br />members may be responsible for the planning and implementation <br />of certain duties that are inherent to their job or their department. <br /> <br />(5) Attend regular montWy and special meetings or find an alternate <br />when attendance is not possible. <br /> <br />(6) Cooperate with fellow members in an effort to make organizational <br />improvements. <br /> <br />PROCEDURES <br /> <br />A. Recommendations for organizational changes may be received, but not <br />limited to, by the following means: <br /> <br />(1) Employee suggestions submitted to Department Representative. <br /> <br />(2) From members of the Committee. <br /> <br />B. The EIA may draft requests, recommendations, and suggestions and <br />present them to the City Manager for consideration. <br /> <br />C. Six (6) members of the EIA shall constitute a quorum. No Committee <br />action will be taken in the absence of a quorum. <br /> <br />D. The EIA will select one award winner each year in the following six <br />categories: <br />. Teamwork <br />. llnovation <br />. Above and Beyond <br />. Leadership <br />. Exceptional Customer Service <br />. Spirit of Minnetonka <br /> <br />BUDGET <br /> <br />A. The Administrative Services department sets the annual budget for EIA <br />expenditures. <br />
