Motion <br /> passed. <br /> VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. City of Centerville February 12, 2015 through February 25, 2015 Claims (Check#29342- <br /> 29356) & (Check#29357-29364) <br /> 2. Centennial Fire District Claims through February 13, 2015 (Check #6769-6789) w/ <br /> Payroll Checks#6761-6768 <br /> 3. Parks & Recreation Committee Request to Increase Music in the Parks Line Item Budget <br /> from $2,200 to$2,700 <br /> 4. Res. #14-OXX—Approving ICMA Retirement Corporation Deferred Compensation Plan <br /> and Trust(457 Plan) <br /> 5. Authorize Staff to Advertise for Summer/Seasonal/Public Works Positions(4) <br /> Mayor Wilharber provided Council Members an opportunity to pull items from the Consent <br /> Agenda for additional discussion. <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Kine to approve the <br /> Consent Aeenda as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> VIII. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> 1. Ms. Nancy Johnson, 7260 Unity Avenue, Centerville Lions Representative — Recap 1st <br /> Annual Lynn Johnson Memorial Ice Fishing Contest <br /> Ms. Johnson thanked staff, Council, sponsors, volunteers, Lion members, Anoka County Parks, <br /> Centennial Police & Fire, Waste Management, and Benson Airport's American Young Eagles <br /> Club. Ms. Johnson stated that without all of the individuals and businesses the contest would <br /> not have been able to take place. Ms. Johnson also stated that 1,100 holes were drilled prior to <br /> the contest starting, 974 tickets for holes and 908 raffle tickets were sold, prizes were awarded <br /> for the first through thirty fish caught along with the largest one through ten caught. Ms. <br /> Johnson stated that the Lions sold out of chili but also sold bouya, chips, hot dogs, coffee, hot <br /> cocoa, beer, adult beverages on the ice. Ms. Johnson also stated that people came for all over <br /> Minnesota to enjoy the fishing contest but to also patronize local establishments. <br /> Mayor Wilharber thanks those that both participated either through attendance, assistance or <br /> sponsorships and stated that it was a well-attended event. <br /> IX.
