Mediation Services
for Anoka County
Creating Peaceful Solutions
March 25, 2015
File # RIVM
We have received a request from City of Centerville asking that Neighbor Issues
regarding installation of a fence and post & dogs barking be resolved in a
mediation conference with Matt Rivard and Charles Reinhardt.
Our nonprofit organization has successfully helped people in conflict for over 26
years. Mediation is a voluntary process where each side comes to a neutral place
to share their concerns and to work with the other party to discuss the issues.
Often people come up with their own solutions and find a way to move forward. It
is a tremendous opportunity to try to work out your issues and avoid some of the
cost and stress of the legal system.
There is no cost for this service, and we hope you will take advantage of the
opportunity to resolve the issues and give mediation a try_
Enclosed are the materials that explain the process in more detail.
**In order to move forward, please fill out, sign, and send back the GREEN
`Desire to Mediate' form — that tells us that you want to participate.
When we receive a signed "Desire to Mediate" form from each party, we contact
all parties to find a date and time that will work for everyone. The mediation would
be held at our offices in Coon Rapids, right off Highway 10 at the Main Street exit.
**If you do not wish to proceed, kindly indicate that on the GREEN "Desire
to Mediate" form and send it back to our office.
We hope you will participate!
For more information please visit our website at www.mediationservice.org or call
our office at 763-422-8878 and we will gladly answer any questions you have.
Thank you very much for considering us to help you find a peaceful solution!
cc: Teresa Bender, City of Centerville
Mediation Services for Anoka County is a community-focused 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization.
Contributions are very much appreciated and are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law.
3200 Main Street, Suite 210 Coon Rapids, MN 55448
www.mediationservice.org office:763-422-8878 97(: 763-422-0808 info@mediationservice.org
