City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> March 25,2015 <br /> Mr. Angerhofer questioned the cost of the assessment in 2017 if that is when the Royal Meadow <br /> Development would be added back in and Council stated that would be up to the Council at that <br /> time with public hearings being held similar to this evening. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 6. Res. #15-015 — Adopting Special Assessments for the 2015 Street Mill and Overlay <br /> Improvement with the Deletion of Robin Lanes North, South, West and Cardinal Drive <br /> Legal Counsel Glaser stated that Staff has provided two separate resolutions for Council to <br /> choose from; one resolution has the option to impose interest 30 days from this evenings meeting <br /> if the resolution is adopted and the other has the option to impose interest as of July 1, 2015. <br /> Legal Counsel Glaser also stated that Council must determine the period that the assessment will <br /> run, three (3), four(4) or five(5) years. <br /> Engineer Statz stated that he felt that July 1, 2015 would be a good date as the project should be <br /> completed by that date. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the amount of the assessment and whether it could be deceased if <br /> Council desired. Legal Counsel Glaser concurred. <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to Adopt <br /> Res. #15-015 — Adopting Special Assessments for the 2015 Street Mill and Overlay <br /> Improvement with the Deletion of Robin Lanes North, South,West and Cardnal drive for a <br /> period of three (3) Years Interest will Commencinp- July 1, 2015. Council Member Love <br /> abstained. Motion carried 4/0. <br /> XI. COUNCIL & ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Administrator Report <br /> a. Metro Cities Annual Meeting, Thursday, April 16, 2015, 5:30 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. — <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that if any Council Member were interested Staff <br /> would RSVP for them and properly notice the meeting. <br /> b. NE Metro Water Summit — April 9, 2015 — Administrator Ericson stated that he <br /> and the Mayor would be in attendance. <br /> C. Centennial Fire District Update — Administrator Ericson stated that the two (2) <br /> Mayors and Administrators met on Monday to discuss the 2015 budget and <br /> continued commitments of the two (2) cities to work together and that the Fire <br /> Chief Pat Devaney has given notice of his intent to terminate his employment as <br /> of April 13, 2015. <br /> 2.
