Love <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson <br /> Mosher. <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> II. APPEARANCES —None <br /> III. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 1. Request for Conditional Use Permit—6845—20`x' Avenue South. <br /> The applicant Mr. Brian Hanson, was present. Building owner Mr. Richard Pearson was <br /> not present but provided a letter of support for Mr. Hanson's use of the building in the <br /> requested manner. The meeting was opened for public comment, no one was present to <br /> speak with regard to the request. <br /> Mr. Hanson stated that he has been operating his business out of the building for several <br /> months when it was brought to his attention that he would need to apply for a Conditional <br /> Use Permit. Mr. Hanson stated that he had originally contacted the City prior to signing a <br /> lease for the suite ascertaining whether the use was allowable. Mr. Hanson stated that he <br /> was told that he could operate there and signed a lease. Mr. Hanson stated that it is <br /> believed that this error was made in part due to a similar recreational business being <br /> operated in the building. Staff explained to Mr. Hanson that the building was previously <br /> rezoned from BI (Commercial) to I1 (Industrial) in early 2006 and during that time the <br /> existing business was grandfathered in for its use due to the previous zoning. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
