City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> April 22,2015 <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that the City has been successful in obtaining a $10,000 grant <br /> similar to last years which allow the sealing of 16 wells within the Wellhead Protection Area and <br /> would like to continue sealing the wells in this area. Administrator Ericson stated that staff is <br /> requesting authorization to accept the grant funding by authorizing the Mayor signature on the <br /> presented documents. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br /> the Minnesota Department of Health Clean Water Fund and authorize the Mayor to sign <br /> the document. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 7. Res. #15-017—Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Affix Their Signatures upon the <br /> Approved Plat (Mylar) for the Center Villa Second Addition for Recording with the <br /> Anoka County Recorder's Office <br /> Legal Counsel Glaser stated that the County Recorder's Office requires official action of the <br /> Council to record documents ensuring that the documents have received proper approval by the <br /> respective governing body. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to Adopt <br /> Res #15-017 — Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Affix Their Signatures upon the <br /> Approved Plat (Mylar) for the Center Villa Second Addition for Recording with the Anoka <br /> County Recorder's Office as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 8. Anoka County Radio Club Request for Special Event Permit — Field Day Exercise, June <br /> 26-28, 2015 (24 hr. operations), LaMotte Park Parking Lot) <br /> This item was discussed out of order due to Council Members Paar's anticipated absence. <br /> XI. COUNCIL & ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Administrator Report <br /> Administrator Ericson apologized for his lateness and stated that he had attended the annual <br /> Centennial Fire District Awards Ceremony and Centerville Lions' Cadillac Dinner this weekend. <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that both events showed the residents of Centerville and <br /> surrounding communities that we have great personnel that provide essential roles/services <br /> within the area. Administrator Ericson stated that the Lions presented the Parks & Recreation <br /> Committee with a$500 donation and he expressed the Committee's gratitude. <br /> 2. Council & Staff Reports <br /> Council Member Fehrenbacher stated that he had attended a recent water meeting in Hugo and <br /> was very impressed with the attendance of representatives from the MN Department of Natural <br /> Resources, affected community leaders, state and local representatives and felt that it was an <br /> informative meeting. Legal Counsel Glaser stated that there are numerous bills/legislation <br /> making its way through the house and senate and it will be interesting to watch what happens <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br />
