Centennial Flag Football, via Mr. Jared Sampson, has requested Fields 1 & 2 at <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to sunset <br />and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm from August 11 through September 26. <br /> <br />Since both groups have requested the use of some of the same space, it has been <br />requested that both gentlemen work out an equitable time schedule for each <br />group. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Grahek, seconded by Committee Member <br />Amundsen to recommend to the City Council to approve both of these <br />applications. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Centennial Lions Donation <br /> <br />A donation in the amount of $500 was received from the Centerville Lions Club, <br />by Administrator Ericson, to be used towards expenses/programs associated with <br />park and recreation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.Special Event Permit Application - Anoka County Radio Club <br /> <br />This is for a Field Day Exercise and is scheduled for June 26, 2015 from 5 pm <br />through 3pm on June 28, 2015. They will be utilizing the parking lot for two <br />nights and will be using electric or battery power. This event has already been <br />approved by the City Council. Committee would like to have neighborhood <br />notified. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Grahek, seconded by Committee Member <br />Seeley to enthusiastically endorse this event. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />8.Purchase of Popcorn Machine <br /> <br />Ms. Moore suggested that the committee contact Darren at Affordable Inflatables <br />at 612-743-6418 to obtain a price for a new machine. Prior prices found have <br />been around $500. Purchase hopes to be finalized by July. <br /> <br /> <br />9.Signage for Music in the Park <br /> <br />Committee Members Amundsen and Peterson are currently working on signs for <br />the Music in the Park. Upon completion they will be distributed to the kiosks and <br />other locations to promote this event. <br /> <br /> <br />10.Electrical Improvements – LaMotte Park <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer has requested bids for this project and upon receipt of them, will <br />present them at a future meeting. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
