UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.Council Updates – Council Member Steve King - NONE <br /> <br /> <br />2.Music in the Park – see number 9 below <br /> <br /> <br />3.Drinking Fountain – LaMotte Park Warming House <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer has requested a quote from Hugo Plumbing and will present it to the <br />committee at a future date. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Spring Clean Up <br /> <br />The committee members that were available, plus two additional Cub Scouts <br />th <br />volunteers, did a spring park clean up on April 11. There was some graffiti at <br />McBride Park, a hole in the fence at Royal Meadows and some issues with the <br /> <br />basketball hoop not being up to specifications. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Recognition Plaques <br /> <br />The Lions previously placed a recognition plaque on one of the park benches in <br />memory of Mr. Lynn Johnson. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Anoka County Placement of Flyers/Posters <br /> <br />Flyers/Posters will be sent for approval and display. <br /> <br /> <br />7.Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Trail – Gravel/Temp <br /> <br />A culvert has been replaced and will be adding bituminous surface. <br /> <br /> <br />8.Letter to Anoka County Sheriff Department <br /> <br />A letter was sent to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Department requesting them to <br />provide the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club a permit to place their ski jump on Centerville <br />Lake for their water ski shows. <br /> <br /> <br />9.Music in the Park – 8 signed Contract received need 7-21 booking <br /> <br />Signed contracts from 8 of the acts booked have been received; need to book for the <br />st <br />July 21 slot <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />10.Blue Bird Houses <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
