City of Centerville <br /> Parks&Recreation Meeting Minutes <br /> July 8,2015 <br /> Request this item be placed on the agenda for the August meeting. This issue is <br /> before the Council at this time(July 8, 2015). <br /> 5. Blue Bird Houses—TABLED <br /> No update—Request this item be placed on the agenda for the August meeting. <br /> 6. Sledding Hill <br /> This item was placed before Council at their regularly scheduled meeting of June <br /> 10, 2015. Council tabled the item until such time as quotes were received for the <br /> request to relocate the existing dirt pile. This item is currently on hold due the <br /> fact that the Committee learned that some of the dirt had been removed to be used <br /> elsewhere. <br /> 7. Park Facility Permit Application Request <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Grahek to recommend to the City Council to approve the use of <br /> Hidden Spring Park on August 8, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a <br /> wedding ceremony. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 8. Park Dedication Fees <br /> The City received $3,806 for Park Dedication Fees and the P & R Committee <br /> would like to have that amount added to their budget for future projects. <br /> 9. Lakeshore Issues at Trailside Park <br /> There is severe erosion on the lakeshore due to removal of trees. The Committee <br /> discussed possible solutions to correct this problem, if any grants might be <br /> available, checking into obtaining DNR permission and if the Water Ski Club <br /> could help with this problem. <br /> 10. Upgrades to Audio Equipment <br /> Mr. Tom Lee, Organizer of Music in the Park, suggested to the Committee to <br /> consider some upgrades to the audio equipment. <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Grahek, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Seeley to purchase needed upgrades to the P & R audio equipment, <br /> not to exceed$500. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 11. Basketball Court Line Markings -TABLED <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
