He also stated that Staff would attempt to <br />replenish the dirt with local, residential construction sites <br />Administrator Ericson stated that staff has been unable to secure three bids for the electrical <br />improvements and Aid Electric was the lowest bidder. <br />Council Member Fehrenbacher questioned whether Public Works Director Palzer was <br />comfortable with the firm. Consider Approval of Amendment #2 to Joint Powers Agreement for the <br />Reconstruction of County State Aid Highway 21 (Centerville Road) from County <br />State Aid Highway 34 (Birch Street) to CSAH14 (Main Street) in the Cities of <br />Centerville and Lino Lakes, MN — County Project No. S.A.P. 002-621-10 <br />Administrator Ericson stated that Engineer Statz would review with Council the necessity of this <br />Amendment. Engineer Statz stated that the presented Joint Powers Agreement addresses all the <br />issues that the Council has previously agreed to and reviewed the following items; lowering of <br />the trunk storm sewer to avoid conflict with MCES' forcernain, additional ditch work and <br />lowering the culvert under the regional trail to avoid conflicts with the St. Paul Regional Water <br />watermain and removal of the colored concrete intersections on Main Street. Engineer Statz <br />stated that all of the items have been completed. Engineer Statz stated that it was anticipated that <br />the final lift of asphalt would be placed on CSAH2 1 /Centerville Road by the second week of <br />August weather dependent. Mark stated that the County does not like going back to the County <br />Board so they lumped things together. Mark stated that the work is done and not aware of any <br />RCWD violations.
