<br />Centerville City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 26, 2003 <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers suggested asking for an RSVP in an attempt to assist <br />with planning. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated there were a lot of people that showed up that did not <br />RSVP as the City had advertised the event in an effort to promote volunteering. She then <br />said she would add the RSVP and asked for approval to advertise in the Hugonian for <br />$150 with a 40% discount. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated there is a community calendar that would not cost anything <br />and asked that the event be advertised on the community calendar. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers suggested advertising the event on the City's <br />signboard and at local businesses. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she had asked County Bank for balloons but they do <br />not have any. She then asked for authorization to provide balloons for the kids. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers seconded by Council Member Paar <br />to approve a budget not to exceed $500.00 for the N ational Volunteer Recognition <br />Event. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated his firm would donate the cost of the hotdogs, buns and <br />chips. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked that this event be placed on the agenda for the other <br />committees for discussion. <br /> <br />8. CIGNA Behavioral EAP Privacy Addendum <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Broussard Vickers and seconded by Council <br />Member Lee to authorize the Mayor to si2n the CIGNA Behavioral EAP Privacy <br />Addendum. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br />1. Legislative Update <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes invited Council to attend the All City Day at the Capitol on April 9, <br />2003. <br /> <br />2. Capital Proiects Update <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated there was a meeting with the developer on Woods of <br />Clearwater Creek and he was provided with some interesting and good information. He <br />then said that he has received a proposal from the developer and that would be brought to <br />Council for consideration during closed session at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Page 18 of 19 <br />
