City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />August 11, 2015 <br />construction. The Commission discussed, in detail, the merits of rezoning the property versus a <br />CUP and agreed that a CUP would be best for the company and city. <br /> <br />2. 2015 City of Centerville Fete des Lacs <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated gave a brief overview of the events, participation and vision for <br />future celebrations. He stated that it is important to have a P & Z member at a future Festival <br />Committee meeting. <br /> <br />3. Sewer & Water Rates <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson explained the city’s sewer and water funds and stated they are Enterprise <br />Funds which are independent of the City’s general fund. He stated that the City’s funding of the <br />water and sewer system are steady; however, with depreciation and anticipated repair(s) in the <br />future an increase in rates may take place and Council is considering this item along with the 2016 <br />budget. No action taken by the Commission but excellent discussion took place with positives and <br />negatives on rate increases. <br /> <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS - None <br /> <br />VII. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Koski, seconded by Commissioner Twohy to adjourn the meeting <br />at 8:20 p.m. All in favor.
