<br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />Wednesday, September 2, 2015 ~ 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held a scheduled meeting on September 2, 2015 at the City Hall location. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Charles Reinhardt <br /> <br />Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> Council Member Steve King <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson <br />Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Linda Neudecker, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chairperson Grahek called the September 2, 2015 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation Committee <br />to order at 6:35 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. <br /> <br /> Roll Call – see above <br /> <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />Committee Members requested that Movie in the Park ~ The Lego Movie be added under <br />Committee Business Item #4, Thank Yous/Recognitions for Mr. Pat Branch and Mr. Tom <br />Lee under Updates Item #3, Safety Bases, Shoreline at Trailside Park & Fete des Lacs <br />Run be added under Other Items, Items #6, 7 and 8. <br /> <br /> Motion by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee Member Amundsen to <br />amend the agenda as stated above. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES ~ <br /> <br />1. Terry & Brigid Thompson, Midwest Events <br /> <br /> Terry & Brigid Thompson where invited to present to the Committee information <br />regarding their company and professional expertise to coordinate the Fete des Lacs <br />runs/walk in the future and they provided an outside perspective on suggestions for <br />improvements for the event. <br /> <br /> <br />
