City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 23,2015 <br /> been that the City advertises non-profit events and City events only, but with the request he felt <br /> that Council may desire to institute a written policy regarding the item. <br /> Lengthy discussion ensued regarding Corner Expresses reader board availability, current use <br /> other communities policies and the Planning&Zoning Commission's review. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbahcer, seconded by Council Member Paar to Deny the <br /> Current Request Due to Lack of Policv and Forward to the Planning & Zoning <br /> Commission for Review. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> X. COUNCIL & ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that he had received a letter from a resident residing at 7384 Old Mill <br /> Road requesting driveway repair,previous road project, special assessments and exposed utilities <br /> Discussion ensued regarding previous declined offerings of paving the lower portion of the <br /> driveway and previous City favorable court action regarding special assessments and driveway <br /> concerns of the owner. Council concurred that Administrator Ericson would continue to work <br /> with the property owner, research the item and keep Council abreast of the situation. <br /> 1. Administrator Ericson <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that he continues to have discussions with Mr. Rich DeFoe and has <br /> advised him to contact a broker for the sale of the old Waterworks site. <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that he recently met with staff from North Metro TV regarding <br /> Centerville marketing and history videos. <br /> 2. Council <br /> Engineer Statz stated that with the new FEMA map, the City's floodplain ordinance would need <br /> to be updated and the Planning & Zoning Commission would be considering calling a public <br /> hearing at its November meeting and then it would be forwarded to Council for consideration in <br /> December. <br /> Engineer Statz stated that all wetland transactions had been completed for the 2013 Trail project <br /> closing it out. <br /> Engineer Statz also stated that Anoka County has yet to provide remaining invoices associated <br /> with the CSAH21/Centerville Road project but anticipate receiving them prior to Council's final <br /> approval of the 2016 budget. <br /> Council Member King stated that a Joint meeting would be held with the North Metro TV <br /> Commission and Administrators on October 6, 2015 for discussion of a proposed franchise <br /> agreement with CenturyLink.
